Dynasty® Pride Product Code Number: 7658

Dynasty® Pride is a cubed horse feed. It contains high-fiber ingredients and is designed for situations when roughage is in limited supply. It is easily transported, perfect for trail rides and also is recommended for horses that have respiratory problems like heaves. The cube form slows consumption, thereby reducing the risk of digestive disturbances. Product can also be soaked for horses with poor dental health.

Feeding Directions

Feed at a rate of 0.25 – 2.0 lb/100 lb body weight daily. A minimum of 5 lb of good-quality, long-stem hay should be fed to maintain good digestion and prevent boredom. If no hay is fed, gradually adjust feeding rate based on body condition and feed at least 3 times/day. Provide fresh, clean water and salt free choice. Equestrian’s Choice® Products

We understand that your horse’s well being depends on quality nutrition. Equestrian’s Choice® provides your horse with quality grains and the right mixture of vitamins and minerals to sustain good health and overall appearance. With Equestrian’s Choice®, you get tried and true formulas with the same great quality you have come to trust in our products. Equestrian’s Choice provides the nutrients to maintain the overall health and performance of your horse. Available with either 12% or 14% crude protein, Equestrian’s Choice offers flexibility and precision into your feeding program.

Pelleted Feeds
A quality, pelleted product is an efficient and cost-effective way to feed your horse. The pellet is often more digestible than most sweet feeds, attracts fewer flies, does not freeze, and prevents sorting of ingredients (i.e. nutrients). Pellets may also produce a lower glycemic response.

Textured Feeds
Textured products consist of the classic blend of oats, corn, pellets and molasses to provide good nutritional value with excellent acceptance and palatability.

Equestrian’s Choice® 12, 12 Plus, 14 & 14 Plus Product Code Numbers: 12 – 7284, 12 Plus – 7285, 14 – 7286, 14 Plus – 7287

A pelleted grain ration to be fed for horse maintenance, breeding mares, and horses on good-quality hay or pasture.

Feeding Directions

Feed to horses at the rate of 0.5 to 1.75 lb of feed per 100 lb of body weight depending on horse age, condition, performance level, and reproductive status. Contact your KNG representative for more specific feeding recommendations. Provide high-quality hay or pasture, fresh clean water, and salt free choice. It is recommended that feed changes be made gradually.

The suggested feeding program is intended solely as a guide. The variables associated with management, environment, and breed may dictate changes in the horses’ requirements.

Equestrian’s Choice® Equine Mineral Product Code Number: 7612

Equestrian’s Choice® Equine Mineral is a granulated mineral and vitamin supplement specifically designed for horses on a grass-roughage or mixed grass/legume-roughage program.

Feeding Directions

Equestrian’s Choice® Equine Mineral may be fed as a free-choice mineral supplement or may be mixed with grain to ensure 2-3 oz intake per head daily. For most horses, a consumption rate of 2-3 oz is adequate and appropriate. However, if intake exceeds recommended amounts, or if your horse has not been exposed to a Kent quality mineral before, offer 2-3 oz per day per horse and increase that amount by 1 oz per day until the horse fails to consume the entire amount. Another method to acclimate your horse to Equestrian’s Choice® Equine Mineral is to offer it with salt for the first 14 days. The plain white salt may be removed at that time. For horses doing light work, additional salt is not needed. For harder working horses, additional salt supplementation may be needed. If the diet consists exclusively of legume hay or legume pasture, additional supplementation of phosphorus may be necessary for foals.

Warning: Do not feed to sheep.

OMEGATIN®

OMEGATIN® is a revolutionary diet high in fat and fiber, low in starch, and balanced with quality protein. Paired with low starch and high fiber, OMEGATIN® potentially reduces the risk of diet-related disorders, including colic and founder. OMEGATIN® is a whole new solution to timeless equine nutrition needs. Available in 20-lb pail or 40-lb bag

High Fat: More Energy, Less Risk
Until recently, to get more energy into a horse, you had to feed more grain. But high intake of a grain diet can cause digestive problems, such as gastric ulcers, colic, and founder. This diet can also cause increased excitability in some horses. OMEGATIN® replaces energy from the starch in grain with calories from fat. This formulation provides more energy for growth and performance while minimizing the risk of digestive upsets and hyperactivity. In some high-fat horse rations fat is poured on top. It’s slimy, messy and sticky. Other high-fat rations also require supplementation of vitamins and minerals, along with the fat source. With OMEGATIN®, a patent-pending process allows the pelleting of high-fat ingredients with the necessary protein, mineral, and vitamin sources. The result is a balanced complete grain mix. You get the benefits and safety of added fat in a complete grain mix with no guessing or mess.

Lower Starch Means Greater Safety
Some high-fat horse products can contain as much as 50% starch. By comparison, OMEGATIN® has a starch content of only 13.5%. This is a benefit to horses exhibiting starch sensitivity. With lower starch, OMEGATIN® helps maximize the health and safety advantages of high-fat horse diets.

Easy-To-Chew Pellet for Easily Absorbed Nutrition
OMEGATIN® is a soft, easy-to-chew pellet. Because the pellet is soft, it is ideal for older horses or horses with poor teeth. Horses take to OMEGATIN® easily because it is cherry flavored for palatability.

Precision Nutrition In Every Bite
OMEGATIN® is fortified as a complete grain mix. This means you don’t need to supplement with additional protein. OMEGATIN® also contains flax and biotin for healthy hooves and a shiny coat, plus trace minerals and vitamins for enhanced immune function. The diet also includes three amino acids defined as the most critical to the equine diet: lysine, threonine and methionine.

Natural Antioxidants Keep Our Ingredients Fresh
Unnatural preservatives are something many modern horse owners prefer to avoid. That’s why OMEGATIN® keeps its nutrition fresh with natural antioxidants, tocopherols, and citric acid.

Helps Foals Grow Bigger, Safely
OMEGATIN® provides safe, superior nutrition for young, growing foals. Because of its low starch, high-fat and fiber consumption, OMEGATIN® may help minimize developmental orthopedic diseases in rapidly growing foals. Active youngsters receive maximum nutrition to help them grow bigger, safely.

All OMEGATIN® feeds are manufactured with our “Locked Formula” technology.

Please contact a Kent Nutrition Group representative for further recommendations.

Feeding Directions

As a top-dress, OMEGATIN may be fed at a minimum of 1/2 pound up to 3 pounds per animal daily along with the grain mix and roughage. Provide clean water and salt free choice. The suggested feeding program is intended solely as a guide. The variables associated with management, environment, and breed may dictate changes in the animals’ requirements.
