Heifer Baby Beef 44 625M 500B is protein, mineral and vitamin supplement formulated for mixing heifer feedlot rations.
PNP (Protected Natural Protein) is a type of protein which bypasses the rumen to improve the quality of protein available to the animal for growth.
A 6 to 1 calcium to phosphorus ratio aids in balancing rations with high inclusions of corn co-products.
Formulated to provide trace minerals and vitamins to help support optimal animal health and performance.
Improved feed efficiency and increased rate of weight gain in beef cattle fed in confinement for slaughter.
Suppresses heat in feedlot heifers.
Soybean Meal, Processed Grain By-Products, Animal Protein Products, Calcium Carbonate, Sunflower Meal, Urea, Salt, Calcium Sulfate, Cane Molasses, Calcium Iodate, Manganese Sulfate, Ferrous Sulfate, Copper Sulfate, Zinc Sulfate, Cobalt Carbonate, Calcium Bentonite, Linseed Meal, Vitamin A Acetate, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Vitamin E Supplement, Sodium Selenite, Monocalcium Phosphate, Dicalcium Phosphate, Ethoxyquin and BHT (preservatives), Potassium Chloride.
Feed to heifers at the rate of 0.8 pound(s) per head per day to provide 0.5 mg of Melengestrol Acetate and 200 mg of Lasalocid. Mix into a complete feed prior to feeding.
Estimate daily pounds of air dry ration to be consumed per head and add the indicated level of dry supplement to the appropriate amount of feedstuffs to make one ton of complete air dry feed.
Melengestrol Acetate and Lasalocid may be fed continuously throughout the time the heifers are being grown and finished for slaughter. Lasalocid should be mixed in the complete feed to provide 10-30 g/ton.
Important: Only for use in heifers being fed in confinement for slaughter.
A withdrawal period has not been established for this product in pre-ruminating cattle. Do not use in calves to be processed for veal. This feed should be used only in accordance with directions on this label. Feed to ruminants only.
The safety of lassalocid for use in unapproved species has been established. Do not allow horses or other equines access to feeds containing lasalocid as ingestion may be fatal. Mix thoroughly with grain and/or roughage prior to feeding. Feeding undiluted or mixing errors may result in an excess lasalocid concentration which could be fatal to cattle and sheep.
