EnergiLass SGD is a protein, mineral and vitamins supplement formulated for ewes and does prebreeding through lambing/kidding, and to all sheep, goats and deer on medium to low quality pasture, hay or forage.

  • High energy - Molasses and added fat results in a very high level of sugar and energy. This high sugar level and the licking action needed for consumption increase saliva production. This, in turn, may improve the rumen environment which would improve forage digestion.
  • Highly palatable - The high level of molasses solids and fat make for a highly palatable product. The licking action along with saliva produced softens the top 1/4 inch of the block allowing limited consumption. When this thin layer is consumed the animals must wait for the next layer of the block to soften before they can consume additional product.
  • Continuous protein delivery - As pastures mature, forage quality can decline. Supplementing with protein allows the rumen to better digest mature forages.
  • Trace minerals and vitamins - Formulated to provide trace minerals and vitamins to help support optimal animal health and performance.
  • No added copper - This product is formulated without added copper and is safe for all breeds of sheep.

Feed EnergiLass SGD to females before breeding and giving birth, and to all sheep, goats and deer on a medium to low quality pasture, hay or forage. Place tub(s) in a dry location near the animal's source of water, salt and mineral or loafing area. Consumption will vary depending on animal's size, stage of reproduction, quality, source and availability of roughage and/or grains, number of animals per tub and tub location. Offer one 50 lb container for every 20-30 head of sheep and one for every 15-20 head of goats or deer. Sheep, goats and deer typically consume between 1 and 3 oz per head per day.
DAILY INTAKE VALUES ARE APPROXIMATE. To increase consumption, decrease the number of animals per tub. To reduce consumption, increase the number of animals per tub, or place tubs away from the normal area. Provide clean, fresh water at all times. Provide salt and appropriate mineral free-choice.

Caution

Use as directed. Consumption of selenium should not exceed 0.7 mg per head daily for sheep and goats.
