Home Fresh 18 Goat Developer 20R is a pelleted complete medicated feed for starting and growing kids. Feed continuously as the sole diet to goats beginning at 2 weeks of age up to 6 months of age. Suggested daily feeding rates of 1.5% to 3.0% of body weight will depend on age and production goals. Feed with good quality forage and fresh water at all times.
The suggested feeding program is intended solely as a guide. The variables of management, environment and breed may dictate changes in the animal’s dietary requirements.
Warning
This feed contains supplemental copper. DO NOT FEED to sheep or pygmy goats due to their copper sensitivity. It is recommended to feed sheep and pygmy goats Home Fresh sheep feed.
Caution
Do not allow horses or other equines access to feeds containing Monensin. Ingestion of Monensin by horses has been fatal. Monensin-medicated cattle and goat feeds are safe for use in cattle and goats only. Consumption by unapproved species may result in toxic reactions. Do not exceed the levels of Monensin recommended in the feeding directions, as reduced average daily gains may result. Do not feed to lactating goats.
