LG Dairy Refresher is a fortified dry cow supplement to be fed during the dry period with roughage (including legumes).

  • Low calcium and no added potassium - Aids in the prevention of milk fever when fed with low potassium forages.
  • No added salt - Aids in the prevention of udder edema.
  • Added magnesium - Helps meet the nutritional needs of the dry cow and developing fetus and reduce hypomagnesemia at calving.
  • Selenium yeast and vitamin E - Selenium and vitamin E work together to support proper immune function.
  • Trace minerals and vitamins - Formulated to provide optimal levels of trace minerals, including complexed sources, and vitamins to support the nutritional needs of the cow through gestation and transition.

Feed 2 pounds of LG Dairy Refresher™ per day during the dry period except for the three weeks immediately prior to freshening. Fresh Aide™ should be used during the two to three weeks prior to freshening and the first 100 days of lactation. In high DCAD situations, FeverGuard™ should be fed the last 3 weeks of the dry period to help protect against milk fever.
