EnergiLass Cattle Mineral 8 AFC 1400# is a mineral and vitamin supplement formulated for cattle grazing green, growing pastures or high quality storage forage.
- Calcium and phosphorus - Supplemental calcium to phosphorus are a must for cattle on pasture, as pastures tend to be deficient in phosphorus.
- Optimal trace mineral fortification - Formulated to exceed NRC recommendations for trace minerals, helps overcome antagonists and support optimal animal health and performance.
- Optimal vitamin fortification - Vitamins A, D and E support growth, metabolism, reproductive performance and proper immune system function.
- No Added Salt - EnergiLass is formulated without added salt. A source of free-choice salt should be made available at all times, such as Framework 365 Mineral ADE.
- Highly Palatable - The high molasses content of EnergiLass results in a highly palatable supplement, encouraging and maintaining whole herd consumption.
- Consistent Intake - The unique manufacturing process results in a product that cattle must lick in order to consume. This results in consistent, predictable intake that helps to manage costs per head per day.
- AFC™ for horn fly control - AFC™ (Altosid®) prevents the emergence of adult horn flies from the manure of treated cattle. This option, formulated for heavier cattle, should be fed throughout the fly season to help keep cattle comfortable and grazing.
- Available in an EcoTub - EcoTubs are 200-lb, biodegradable containers. As cattle consume the product, the EcoTub disappears. When the EnergiLass block is gone, the EcoTub is gone too. Availability varies by location.

FEEDING AND MANAGEMENT INSTRUCTIONS: Feed this product to cattle only. When used as directed, this product will provide sufficient S-methoprene insect growth regulator to prevent the emergence of adult horn flies from manure of treated cattle. Existing adult horn flies will not be affected. Start feeding before horn flies appear and continue use until cold weather marks the end of the horn fly season. Allow free choice to cattle. Cattle should consume 34 mg of S-methoprene per 100 lbs of cattle body weight per month to achieve horn fly control. This is equivalent to an average of 0.571 ounces of this product per 100 lbs of cattle body weight per day, which is equivalent to 8 ounces per day for a 1,400 pound cow. To open this product: Remove top plastic sheet.
