KENT SENTINEL SAFE START is a high protein, high fat, pressure cooked feed that offers a safe and natural way to provide essential nutrition to lactating mares and young growing foals. SENTINEL SAFE START can also be fed to show horses on low protein hay or when extra shine and condition is desired.
DAILY GUIDE: Approximate feed weight to volume: 0.85 lb = 1 quart. It is necessary to adjust the feeding of SENTINEL SAFE START to the condition of the horse. Provide good-quality hay or pasture, free-choice salt and plenty of fresh water.
*Suggested program is based on offering grass or mixed grass hays. If feeding legume hays or rich pasture, or if SENTINEL SAFE START is fed below the recommended feeding range, consult your Kent Nutrition Group sales representative or customer service for a ration recommendation.
