A 1.5 to 1 calcium to phosphorus ratio ensures the final diets have the proper ratio and adequate phosphorus levels for optimal animal performance.
Phytase increases the availability of phytate-bound phosphorus naturally found in grains and soybean meal. This decreases the need to add additional phosphorus in the final diet.
Research indicates feeding chromium to sows on a continuous basis supports an increase in the number of pigs born alive, pigs weaned, and breeding efficiency.
